Refill Fix is a new low tech device from Aqua Medic that is ‘designed’ to provide a small amount of make up water lost due to evaporation. We would only loosely describe the Aqua Medic Refill Fix as being designed since it’s not much more than an adaptation of per watering bowls, devices, and even feeders.
The way that the Refill Fix works is by simply attaching a water bottle to the female threaded receptacle and inverting it, the base attaches to the side of the aquarium walls with small hoses to allow air to trickle in, and water to trickle out. There are adapters to accomodate a few different tank side wall thicknesses from 3 to 10 millimeters, and the size of your reservoir ultimately depends on the size of the bottle you select for this purpose
