The food‘s composition is based on the natural periphyton which snails as “grazers“ feed upon. Valuable vegetables, e. g. carrots, kelp algae, tomatoes and spinach, provide the mollusks with essential vitamins and secondary phytochemicals for a functioning metabolism.
